I used clear mono-poly to outline/SID and McTavish quilt the embroidered blocks, (and most were also enhanced w/quilting to ensure they lay nice and flat using the mono-poly), Rainbows Patriotic was used in the borders with Maxilock in the bobbin - my ALL-time favorite bobbin thread! Even Professional Quilt Artist, Bonnie K. Hunter uses Maxilock to quilt with...who knew?!?
