Making Headway on Part IV of the Orca Bay Mystery Quilt

Getting to work with RED - how luscious, Love it!  And as I mentioned in an earlier post, utilizing Polly the Patchworker's method of strip piecing (as we did in Part II), to create the 5 1/2" string/strip red blocks for Part IV of Quiltville's Orca Bay Mystery Quilt:

Haven't made as much progress as I would've liked, been busy revamping my entire quilting studio, but shouldn't have any trouble finishing up by Friday for both projects - I sew strips on my breaks ;-)  I'll post more pics of my progress throughout the week...

Well, gotta get back to it!

  3. Hi Deb, I'm using the regular strip piece method for this step. I am having so much fun seeing every one elses work and enjoying sewing it.
My sister Julia is also doing it.

  5. Me too - I so enjoy seeing what everyone else is doing (in between cleaning and mopping up flood water, UGH!) But starting to make some headway. Good Luck to ALL!!

Some of the works of others I've been seeing and watching is absolutely amazing, can hardly wait to see their finished quilts ;-)
